Beaver Valley Innovation Hub/Bridges Advisory Group

The Beaver Valley Innovation Hub is a joint venture of area industry, government and higher education to develop a space where community members can collaborate on projects, products and ideas that contribute to cultural and economic development.

Market research toward the Hub’s conception is being funded with a grant from Invent Penn State, a Commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation and student career success.

The Hub is currently in a fundraising phase, as Beaver County leaders seek to raise $1 million before June 30. Should they reach that goal, Invent Penn State will match the funds, giving the area $2 million to develop and operate the entrepreneurial and co-working space.

This group, consisting of faculty and students from the Bridges and Pathways College Alliance institutions, will solve problems and build projects for local businesses. Until a location for the Hub is identified, the Bridges Advisory Group will be located at the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce.

If you wish to donate to the Beaver Valley Innovation Hub, or the Bridges Advisory Group component of the Hub, please contact Penn State Beaver Director of Development Diana Patterson at dlp25@psu.edu or 724-773-3558.
